IU Northwest to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday with ‘Voices of Love’ on Jan. 15
Community choir to feature songs that highlight relevance of King’s message

Indiana University Northwest’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Multicultural Affairs invites the campus and community to a free concert in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15 in the Bruce W. Bergland Auditorium, located in the Savannah Center.
Voices of Love is a local community choir comprised of members from more than 25 Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland churches. During their program, entitled “We Still Have a Dream,” the vocalists will sing a combination of familiar spirituals and contemporary songs that illustrate the relevance of Dr. King’s message today.
