Basketball games still on agenda; campus to re-open January 2

In recognition of the holiday season and the semester break, the Indiana University Northwest campus will be closed Saturday, Dec. 22 through Tuesday, Jan. 1, with the exception of the men’s and women’s home basketball games scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 29.
The men’s basketball game tips at 1 p.m. and the women’s game begins at 3 p.m. in the Savannah Center Gymnasium. Both the men’s and women’s team will be playing against Purdue University Calumet.
Three-time All-American Sharon Houston, a 2012 graduate, and former RedHawks basketball star, will be honored for her remarkable basketball career at IU Northwest during an on-court presentation between the men’s and women’s doubleheader.
The IU Northwest campus will re-open on Wednesday, Jan. 2, with the Spring 2013 semester beginning on Monday, Jan. 7.
