IU Northwest offers Adult Education classes

Career-development courses are among the many non-credit classes being offered at Indiana University Northwest beginning July 30. Those considering a career change or looking to earn a promotion are encouraged to register now for instruction in a variety of important topics and disciplines.
IU Northwest offers opportunities for lifestyle enrichment, as well. From line dancing and sewing to interior design and comedy writing, opportunities abound to hone your personal creativity.

Career Development
- Certified Nursing Assistant: Three-week courses offered on a rolling schedule from beginning July 30 to February 4, 2013, $810. For dates, visit http://www.iun.edu/adult-education/.
- Dental Office Administration: Tuesdays, September 11 – November 6 (no class October 9), 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., $245 (includes book). If registering after August 28, cost will be $255.
- Medical Terminology: Wednesdays, September 12 – October 31, 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., $250 (includes book). If registering after August 23, cost will be $260.
- Pharmacy Technician Training: Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 11 – November 15, 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., $925 (includes book). If registering after August 28, cost will be $950.
- Eye Clinic Assistant: Tuesdays, September 25 – December 11, 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., $450 (includes book). Registration closes September 12.
- Health Insurance Billing: Mondays and Wednesdays, October 15 – December 5, 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., $395 (includes books). If registering after October 4, cost will be $420.

- Interior Design – Basic: Wednesdays, September 12 – October 17, 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., $169. If registering after August 30, cost will be $179.
- Interior Design – Intermediate (takes place off campus): Saturdays, October 20, 27 and November 3, 9 a.m. until late afternoon depending on the adventure, $159. If registering after October 4, cost will be $169.

Online Instruction
A variety of courses are now available online, primarily in the areas of computers and professional development. Courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end).
