Program Overview
The Indiana University Northwest Academic Achievement Program (IUNAAP) is an intensive two-week summer enrichment experience that:
- Offers Verbal, Visual, Quantitative, & Critical Analysis training;
- Provides experiences that enhance academic citizenship and servant leadership;
- Offers opportunities for campus involvement;
- Creates a community of support from faculty, staff, and students.
Program Description
This program is designed to help incoming students sharpen and develop collegiate academic skills such as communication, academic writing, and academic citizenship in order to become a successful and academically grounded student. This program was developed to assist incoming students as they adjust to a new academic environment. Previous participants in the program have indicated this program was helpful in their transition to IU Northwest.

Program Details
The Indiana University Northwest Academic Achievement Program (IUNAAP) will be held from July 23rd to August 3rd from 9am-1pm. While participation in the program is voluntary, students accepted into the program are required to attend the orientation and be present during the entire two-week session. Participating students who complete the program become eligible for a $250 stipend for the fall 2018 semester. Students who remain engaged in a number of preselected campus sponsored activities through the fall 2018 semester will be eligible for another $250 stipend for the spring 2019 semester. Each stipend will be credited to your student account for disbursement along with other financial aid. Students are provided breakfast and lunch.
