Senior University: Ages 55 & Better
Through the Senior University program, IU Northwest has offered programming to senior residents for almost two decades. Since 2012, CURE has successfully continued the program’s mission of providing educational, social, and engaged learning opportunities for seniors residing in Northwest Indiana and beyond. This includes offering a variety of lectures, seminars, and workshops throughout the year.

About Virtual/Remote Learning
In order to ensure the health and safety of our campus and community, Senior University has shifted to virtual/remote learning. In-person programming will resume once it is determined to be safe for all involved.
Types of virtual/remote learning offered:
- Online Meetings: Provided via Zoom, participants will need access to a computer or mobile device (internet connection or data plan are needed) and will join the session through the Zoom application using a provided link/meeting ID. Select sessions offer the option to join by phone call.
- Self-Paced Tutorials: Provided via Canvas, participants will need access to a computer or mobile device (internet connection or data plan are needed) and will access the tutorial through any modern web browser using a provided link.
- Session Recordings: Provided via YouTube, participants will need access to a computer or mobile device (internet connection or data plan are needed) and will use a provided link to access the recording of the past session.
