Dear Campus and Community,
Though this is a time of ongoing adjustment for us all, we want to assure you that the Center for Urban and Regional Excellence (CURE) continues to work to build partnerships between the campus and the community.
CURE also remains committed to health and safety as a high priority. As a result, we regularly evaluate our programs, making the changes needed to face today’s challenges and prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities.
Below are the changes that have been implemented:
- An expansion of our online presence to include a variety of non-credit, remote learning opportunities for all ages through our various Programs and Initiatives.
- The resumption of in-person instruction for select programming.
- The resumption of in-person meetings (the option for virtual meetings remains).
These changes have been made in accordance with IU Northwest and Indiana University policy. Please visit the Campus Updates page for additional information.
Students, please be sure to check Canvas daily for important updates. For additional information and back to school pro-tips, visit the Campus Updates - Students page.
In addition to exploring our many online offerings, you can also stay engaged by visiting the Collaboratory to learn more about Community Engagement at IU Northwest. Through this online tool, you can discover the many connections we are making with our community partners. You can also learn more about how faculty, staff, students and the community come together to improve the quality of life in Northwest Indiana and beyond.
Finally, we welcome your inquiries for partnership. Complete the easy, online Community Partnership Request Form and tell us about your interest in partnering with CURE and IU Northwest in the future!
