Summer Bridges, 2020 – choose either August Session
The Summer Bridge provides active learning experiences to help incoming students build momentum and confidence as they enter college at IU Northwest.
During the week students will:
- Explore new interests
- Develop the skills needed for college success
- Build confidence
- Create community with students and faculty- develop new friendships
- Have fun while preparing for your first year at IU Northwest
Session 1: August 3-7; Monday - Thursday, 9am - 1pm (snacks provided),
Friday 2:00pm - 6pm (dinner provided)
Session 2: August 17-21; Monday - Thursday, 9am-1pm (snacks provided), Friday 2:00pm - 6pm (dinner provided)
Activities are free and open to all incoming students, but space is limited! Please register at the link below to reserve a space.
Earn money for books:
Students who successfully complete their summer bridge earn a book scholarship for their first year at IU Northwest.
Earn College Credit:
Students who complete the Summer Bridge experience have the option of earning college credit. These students will have the option to apply their Bridge experience as one credit toward the First Year Seminar class (F116).
