Note: In response to the university's guidance in combating COVID-19, the Faculty Media Production Spaces on the IU Northwest campus have instituted several approved safety protocols to minimize risk to both faculty and our production staff.
The Faculty Media Production Space at IU Northwest is officially open for faculty use in preparing high-quality video content for university courses.
We’ve taken several steps which we hope will help to protect both you and our staff during video shoots. To clean our space thoroughly between each use, we’re now limiting our availability to two, 120-minute time slots each day. Moreover, we’re limiting the number of people in the spaces at any given time to a single faculty member during video shoots, in addition to a single production staff member. Also, we've implemented a system of isolating personal effects while a production is in session. And of course, we require the use of face masks by faculty up to the point when we start recording. After the recording is completed, face masks must be worn once again.
We’re using a NewTek TriCaster in our space which brings several new features to consider for your courses. New teleprompter, virtual sets and Telestrator capabilities are among the enhanced capabilities we have to offer.
For new projects or for more information about our production space, please email our project intake account: firstname.lastname@example.org. Once a Producer/Director is assigned to your project, they’ll work with you to schedule the video shoot date.
