Group III: Distribution

Students must take 12 credit hours in each of the three categories from at least two disciplines within each category. 

A complete list of courses that fulfill these requirements is located and can be searched through the Matrix App at .

A course used to satisfy requirements within Group III can also be used to satisfy requirements in Groups I, II, IV, and V

IIIA.  Mathematics, physical sciences, and life sciences - A student must take at least one science course in Group III A that includes a laboratory (at least 4 credit hours).
IIIB. Social and behavioral sciences
IIIC. Humanities - A student must take at least one studio arts/perform­ing arts/creative writing course in the humanities (at least 3 credit hours).
