High School Credit
College-bound juniors and seniors have many opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school.
Dual credit programs, in which high school students earn high school and college credit concurrently, and early start courses, in which students attend a local university and earn college credit before graduating high school, are opportunities available at many high schools.
Whether administered by IU Northwest or another area college, such courses that students complete in high school will transfer to IU Northwest in most cases. In fact, all such courses fulfill core requirements that are transferable to most universities nationwide. A good resource is the Indiana Core Transfer Library.
