New Student Orientation

Start Strong

To help you prepare for success, Indiana University Northwest provides a comprehensive orientation program designed to help you make the most of your college experience.

During orientation, you will meet other students, learn how to adjust to college life, find out what faculty expect from you, and explore your options for student activities. You will also get your official university ID, the Crimson Card.

Important Notes

During your Orientation program you will have an opportunity to meet other students, get a few helpful hints on adjusting to college life, find out what faculty expect from you, and learn how you can make the most out of your college experience. You will also get your ID picture taken, find out about student activities, and, to help with your time management skills, you will receive an academic planner.

New Student Orientation scheduled for June 24 and July 30 will be presented online. We will continue to monitor the situation and may make adjustments to programming for August 5 and August 13 to remain consistent with the University’s guidelines. Information, including the agenda and how to access our online New Student Orientation platform, will be forthcoming.
