Siteshare and SFTP

When connecting to Webserve to upload or download files, it can be done two ways: Siteshare and SFTP.

Siteshare Connection to Webserve

Users logged into ADS can have SiteShare access to their files. SiteShare allows drive mapping to Webserve so web files can be uploaded and downloaded through Microsoft Explorer. Desktop icons are available to help map directly to the www directory (where files are put to be displayed on the web). The temporary connection to Webserve should only be made when working with the Webserve web files. Disconnect the drive by clicking on the "disconnect Webserve" icon. If the computer is rebooted, the connection will not remain.
