Backing Up Settings

Backing up setting for the following programs will help when you get a new computer or if you want to use the settings for work at another computer.

  • DreamWeaver Site Settings
  • MACSSH
    • Preferences are stored in System Folder> Preferences>MACSSH for MAC OS 9
    • No reason for this in OSX since OSX has it's own SSH client.
  • MACSFTP
    • If you create bookmarks for all of your sites they will be stored in the hard drive in the System Folder>Preferences>OpenSSH folder. That is where MACSFTP Bookmarks are stored in MAC OS 9
    • In OSX in Home Directory>Librarie>Preferences>OpenSSH folder. They are transferable between the two systems.
