Digital Media Streaming
Streaming on Webserve server for professional websites. The IU Webmaster has instructions for Digital Media Streaming Service and a form to request the service on your account. Please read that information before continuing. As an added help, information below is also available. The server is capable of streaming the latest Real, Quicktime, and Windows Media formats.

Streaming
Put file in a folder in the wwwdm area of the professional website with the following link, replacing
- accountname with your professional account name
- foldername with the folder on wwwdm where the streamed file is located (remember to have unique folder names in the wwwdm area and www area - i. e. if your class is f250, use the f250 for your regular web area and name the folder in the wwwdm area, f250-stream or something similar.
- streamingfile.rm with the name-of-your-file.rm.

Starting and ending parameters
If you have a large file or an audio file with tracks, stream as one file and and use the start and end times. Below is the syntax of the start and end time parameter:

Time is expressed as HH:MM:SS.

Although IU Northwest is not IUPUI's Jumpstart Program, the following is a good checklist for using streaming media within your classes.
