Leadership Opportunity In order for Hoosier Volunteers to create and implement our programs we need our very special Team Coordinators. With your help we are able to make a difference in our community. Team Coordinator/Back-up Team Coordinator: Lead or fill in at an ongoing project. They plan each project, take volunteer sign-ups prior to the project, act as a liaison for Hoosier Volunteers and return project evaluations to our office. Team Coordinators lead small groups of volunteers (4 – 15 people) on a weekly or monthly basis. Primary Project Site Manager (PPSM): A Primary PSM is a veteran Hoosier Volunteers leader who takes the lead on communication and organization for the Team Leader at a particulat\r project. This is particularly important at our larger projects. They will communicate more frequently with Hoosier Volunteers officers/advisors and be a point person for the contact people at the project site in the months leading up to the Serve-a-Thon. They will also take the lead on May 9, keeping everyone on schedule, rotating volunteers to new tasks if necessary, and ensuring that PSMs have the tools they need to be successful. Hoosier Volunteers will assign Primary PSMs to a project site. Project Site Manager (PSM)/Backup PSM: Each project is assigned at least 2 PSMs and a Primary PSM to lead the day's activities. Each PSM directly surpervises one or more groups of volunteers (and clients if applicable), providing all the tools and leadership necessary to complete a successful project.
