Clery Act Notice and Fire Safety Report

Indiana University's annual security and fire safety reporrts are posted each year by October 1. These reports are required by federal law ane contain policy statements and crime statistics for the university.

Campus Security and Crime Statistics

The Annual Security Report includes statements addressing the university's policies, procedures, and programs concerning safety and security; for example, policies for responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses. Three years' worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the university and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus. These reports are available online by campus as listed below. You may also request a paper copy from the campus contacts.

Fire Safety Report

Indiana University’s Risk Management Department’s Fire Prevention Program conducts periodic fire safety inspections of all University buildings and increases the fire safety awareness of employees and students by providing periodic training on basic fire safety and conducting evacuation drills. The Fire Safety Report is a web based report which describes the components of basic fire safety, contains information on the level of fire safety on all Indiana University on-campus student housing facilities, and provides fire statistics on all Indiana University campuses.
