What is General Studies??

General Studies provides an education alternative to nontraditional students who need flexibility in program planning and scheduling. Students receive a broadly based education that encompasses the arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and mathematics and natural/physical sciences. It is a curriculum that expands the student's body of knowledge and awareness of major areas of human experience. For further information, go to the Division of Continuing Studies.
