About the Peer Network

Getting Started in the Peer Network

Take an active role in your education by participating in a FREE program open to all IU Northwest students. Interested students are paired with a trained Peer Mentor. Sessions provide one-on-one time with a student who has something in common with you.

Attendance in voluntary; you and your mentor determine when and where you meet.

What is a Peer Mentor?

Mentors are current IU Northwest students who have been right where you are now... they are students that are prepared to share what they have learned about IU Northwest and student life.

What's in it for me?

Attendance at sessions is voluntary. For you the student, it is a chance to:

  • Feel conntected to IU Northwest and campus life.
  • Get help planning your schedule.
  • Discover a club that suits your interests.
  • Meet with someone who is majoring in the same field.
  • Uncover all that IU Northwest has to offer.
