On May 3, 2002, our very own intrepid Gary Martin, Lecturer
in Criminal Justice, embarked on yet another long-distance bicycle
ride - this one from Indianapolis, IN to Washington DC.. Gary is
traveling with his brother-in-law Joe Exl, and Gary police officer
Shane Bolde. Their trip will culminate in National Law Enforcement
Memorial Week, during which the Gary Police Department will be recognized
because one of its officers died in the line of duty during the
past year. The riders will be raising money along the way to benefit
the families of slain officers.
Where on Earth did Gary Martin go ????? See his account of his coast-to-coast 2002 bicycle
adventure. |
