A Message From The Interim Director

Welcome to the School of Public & Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Northwest! We affectionately refer to our school simply as "SPEA." One of our mottos is "making a world of difference!"

If you are considering a college program, I hope that you consider one of our many, quality offerings. I believe that you will enjoy being a part of the SPEA family and being a part of a division that serves as a leader in public affairs education in northwest Indiana.

SPEA at IU Northwest is organized as a professional school - part of the Indiana University system School of Public & Environmental Affairs. The system school offers courses on campuses across the state. SPEA is the largest school of public affairs in the country, and it is consistently ranked as one of the best.

We are very proud of our programs and the quality of our teaching. The range of our public affairs programming is broad, and it includes Criminal Justice, Public and Nonprofit Management, Health Services Management, and Environmental Affairs (a complete listing of our programs can be found at this site). Our advisors will be pleased to meet with you individually at your convenience to answer any questions that you may have.
