Gary's Journal - Day 10

Hello Everyone,

I am typing this on day eleven so I can't remember what happened yesterday! Go figure.  The days are starting to run together. When we got up in the morning, I did not feel well and there was a discussion about making it a rest day.  I wanted to go on and wait until we had gone half way to rest.  The ride was amazing.  The road was   great and for most of the day we averaged around 20mph. Around 80 miles into the day I suddenly got weak and felt sick.  We stopped and I started to throw up.  All hell broke loose.  I was too sick to go on, the day was over.  When we arrived in Amarillo, I could hardly walk (see attached).  We checked in and set up.  Joe and Dion when to eat, I went to bed.  Things got worst.  I could not keep anything on my stomach.  I kept throwing up.  Joe and dion went to bed but I could not stay out of the bathroom.  I was running off at both ends.  I don't know what but I eat something bad.  There was even a discussion about going to the hospital.  No way!!  I would wait until the next day. I don't remember too much more.
