Chilly Hands, Warm Hearts:

Deck the Stalls Enjoyed By All

Caroling while attending "Deck the Stalls"

Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited, Inc., (EEU), who provides educational and therapeutic horseback riding instruction for people with special needs of all ages hosted their annunal "Deck the Stalls". This allowed their special students to come visit the horses during the off season and take part in fun holiday activities.

SNA and other voluneers showed up to help decorate the stalls. It was an amazing time and the stables looked great. The children sung Christmas carols to the horses. Also, everyone enjoyed wonderful hot chocolate and cookies.

Students were also able to have their face painted, and in some special cases, enjoy painting a voluneers face! Smiles and warmth was shared by all.

A huge thanks to everyone that showed up! These are the things that warm the heart.

Bone Chilling Haunted Hospital

Haunted Hospital occurred on Tuesday October 30th at Riverview Park in Lake Station from 4:30-9:00p.m.  There was a bone chilling (and sawing) time to be had by all.  Youngsters in the community came out dressed in their spooky best and walked though the "Haunted Hospital" that was created by the SNA.

More spooky pictures listed on the webpage!  Volunteers consisted of various groups within the nursing program.  Several of the features were donated, including the healthy treats handed out to the youngsters.  This was a huge hit!  Great job everyone!
