Welcome Telecommunication Services IU Northwest IT Telecommunications Team offers quality voice and data services in partnership with leading private and University technology providers, Lucent (voice), Cisco (data), Hewlett-Packard (data), and University Information Technology Services (UITS). To support the University's objective for 24x7 voice and data services, IU Northwest utilizes performance monitoring, comprehensive backup procedures, and commercial service contracts. Requests for services such as voice/data moves, adds, changes, repairs, and consulting should be directed to the IU Northwest IT Support Center (981-4357). IT Telecommunications attempts to provide a 1 business day response and closure on service requests. If a service request extends past 1 business day, the customer (faculty, staff, student, vendor, public) will be notified of the situation and of available options. |
