Program Eligibility The broad purpose of the Occupational Development Program is to provide academic support to those students majoring in a vocational program and who demonstrate academic or financial need. Since the ODP is funded by a federal grant, students served by the program must fall within the eligibility guidelines established by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. In order to be eligible for most services, students must be a certificate or Associate of Science degree major and fall into one of the following special population classifications: Academically Disadvantaged Economically Disadvantaged Limited English Proficiency However, some services the ODP offers are available to all students, regardless of special population classification. The Job Assistance Workshop and Internships are available to any interested student. If you are not sure you qualify for our services, do not hesitate to apply. More than 85 percent of the applicants meet our qualifications!
