Application Procedure

Students may pick up applications for tutoring and other services from the program coordinator in Hawthorn Hall 244.  Completed applications are usually reviewed and eligibility is determined the same day.  In order to be eligible, students must be an Associate of Science degree major and fall into one of the following classifications:

Academically Disadvantaged
With a grade point average (GPA) lower than 3.00 or a history of difficulty in science courses.

Economically Disadvantaged
Needing and/or receiving financial aid or assistance from a public support agency, or having low income status.

Limited English Proficiency
Needing academic assistance due to a limited degree of English language proficiency.
