ODE Diversity & Equity Training Series

The ODE offers training programs to educate the IUN campus about the spoils of discrimination and the triumphs of effective diversity management. We have two main program tracks through which our programs are implemented: Workplace Diversity and Compliance Education Series.

Workplace Diversity involves tailored visitation to classrooms, offices and departments to provide instructions, workshops or facilitation for IUN constituents. Compliance Education Series is a formal education program that targets supervisors and personnel with direct reports. This series is designed to address EEO, Harassment, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, ADA and FLSA compliance issues.

Workplace Diversity matters are handled by request. Interested persons should obtain a training request form (link to forms) to get started. Compliance training generally takes place in October of each year. This training is delivered by staff from the Bloomington campus. However, some on-line material is available year round.
