Sexual Harassment Training Course At Indiana University Northwest, we want our campus to be the best learning and working environment it can be. Employees should at all times treat others respectfully and with dignity. We all share the responsibility for understanding what sexual harassment is, and for keeping our campus free from sexual harassment in both teaching and workplace situations. An underlying goal of this course is to eliminate uncertainties about sexual remarks and behavior in the workplace. The course assumes that when people know which verbal and physical behaviors might be considered sexual harassment and are aware of the consequences of those behaviors, that they will take efforts to prevent those behaviors from occurring. If you supervise others, you will also need to be more attentive and responsive to indications that sexual harassment may be a problem in your work area. When you complete the course, you should have a thorough understanding of IU Northwest's policy on sexual harassment and what should be done if you are involved in or witness a sexual harassment incident. |
