Position: Board Secretary
Indiana University Northwest Graduate, 2007, School of Continuing Studies
Currently working as a Family Support Specialist in the Empowering Teens as Parents Program (ETAP) through Mental Health America of Lake County. ETAP brings parent education and support to teens throughout Lake County. ETAP partners with local schools and social services organization to identify pregnant or parenting teens and work to achieve the following goals: decrease teen parents school drop-out rates, decrease subsequent pregnancies in teens, improve birth outcomes and strengthen the infrastructure of available services.
IUN Alumni Executive Board Member - Secretary
Co-chaired the Community Outreach Committee of the IUNAA . This committee has established a yearly food collection program for the Northwest Indiana Region that last year collected over 465 lbs of food for various food banks
