New Student Orientation

To help new students in their adjustment to the University, we provide a comprehensive Orientation program. Freshman students are expected to attend this important and exciting step into college life at Indiana University Northwest. Transfer students are welcome to attend if you feel the program will be beneficial. Your parents or spouse are encouraged to attend.

During your Orientation program you will have an opportunity to meet other new students, get a few helpful hints on adjusting to college life, find out what faculty expect from you, and learn how you can make the most out of your college experience. You will also get your ID picture taken, find out about student activities, and, to help with your time management skills, you will receive a 2011-2012 planner.

Please choose a date that is free from other obligations. Due to the large number of students and staff involved, we cannot customize the schedule of activities, including advising, for individuals.
