2004 Strategic Planning Outcome 8 Highlight
Outcome #8 (Dr. Jeff Lorber, Sponsor): 2004, Based on the completed needs assessment for Newton County, IU Northwest will implement one collaborative or cooperative program/project in Newton County and will have completed at least one additional needs assessment in one of the other counties in the service area.
- Approximately 20 education, business and civic leaders with the Lifelong Learning Network were involved in helping determine activities in Newton County.
- A non-credit digital photography class was offered in Newton County in Fall 2004.
- A needs assessment for potential 2005 activities in Starke County was completed.
By 12/31/2004, IU Northwest will have implemented one collaborative program/project in Newton County (based on a prior needs assessment) and will have completed at least one additional needs assessment in one of the other counties in the service area.
