What is Kids College?
- Kids College is a summer program that provides classes to students during one three-week session offered Monday through Friday. This program allows young people ages 7 through 13 to be introduced to a college campus.
Where are classes held?
- Classes are held at the Indiana University Northwest campus. The campus is located just south of I-80/94. From I-80/94 you will exit at Broadway South. From I-65 you will go west on I-80/94 and exit at Broadway South.
Who can attend?
- The program is offered to youths ages 7 through 13 and is divided into two age groups. The classes are geared toward New Kids on Campus (ages 7 to 9) and Young Juniors (ages 10 to 13).
What is the cost?
- Each course is $75.00 per child.
When does it start?
- It begins June 18th at 8:00 a.m. and ends on July 3rd.
How do I register?
- You may register online or by mail. If registering by mail, please send checks or money orders* along with your registration form to:

When do I register?
- You may register at any time prior to the first day of class. All classes have a limited enrollment and are filled on a first come basis.
What if a class has filled before you receive my payment?
- We will contact you if the course you have selected is already filled. You will have the option of selecting another class or you can receive a full refund.
What if I cannot attend after registering?
- Refunds can only be made prior to the first day of classes. You may receive a full refund or apply your registration fee to another session. There are NO partial refunds. There will be no refunds for acts of nature (rain) or emergencies (power outage).
How long does it last?
- Each class is scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Can I attend more than one class per day?
- Yes, you may register for as many as three classes per day as long as the classes are not at the same time.
Can my parents wait for me while I am in class?
- Yes, lounge areas are available in the library and in the Moraine Student Center for parents who wish to wait for their children. Parking permits may be purchased by parents who wish to park in the student lots at the Bursar office located in Hawthorne Hall, Room 102.
Are there any Adaptive Educational Services offered?
- Kids College will make reasonable program modifications conforming to Indiana University policies to accommodate students with disabilities. Students may be required to provide medical documentation in order to receive services.
