What is IU Secure?

Good news!!! The new wireless network, called “IU Secure”, has arrived on campus! PC laptop users must install special IU software that appropriately configures wireless connections in order to access the IU Secure network.

This software can be downloaded from IUWare

Start with these instructions for Windows or Mac.

How do I connect to the VPN from home?

To utilize the VPN system, point your browser to vpn.iu.edu and connect using your username and passphrase. The first time you access the new VPN system, you will need to install a small piece of software from Juniper Networks which will require administrative privileges on your home computer.

How do I map my Network Drives?

Once you have a VPN connection, you will be able to map your home and/or departmental drive.
