• Foundation Center – They maintain a freely accessible database of over 70,000 foundations and funder websites.  Foundation Finder searches by name for basic information about foundations. http://foundationcenter.org/findfunders/

• The Guidestar Database has no-charge access to non-profit organizations including mission statements and the IRS 990 forms, which often have names of board members, grants, scholarships, and financial information.  Find it on the A-Z list at IUSM Libraries web, http://library.medicine.iu.edu

• Chronicle of Philanthropy: Connecting nonprofit world with news, jobs and ideas, included online full text within IUN Library database Academic Search Premier, www.iun.edu/~lib/databases

• Funds Netservices: A great comprehensive website, tips to funding grant makers, links to funder sites and resources for grant writers.  Both private and government monies. http://www.fundsnetservices.com/
