In partnership with the Northwest Indiana Chapter of SHRM<http://www.shrmnwi.org/>, the Center is offering two SHRM training programs in 2011.  Essentials of HR Management is a two day program designed to help attendees attain knowledge and practical HR skills to effectively deal with challenging HR issues.  The program will be offered on the IUN campus on two consecutive Saturdays, April 23 and April 30, from 9 am until 3:30 pm.  The SHRM Learning System is designed to prepare HR practitioners for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examinations. This program begins on Saturday, September 24 and runs for 7 consecutive Saturdays, concluding on November 5, from 9-3:30 each day, also on the campus of Indiana University Northwest.
