Military Service and Law Enforcement

Veterans of military service, military and law enforcement personnel on active duty are eligible for academic credit as a result of their training and experience. The General Studies Degree Program of the School of Continuing Studies follows the provisions of the American Council on Education’s Guide to Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services in granting credit. Copies of official discharge, separation papers, certificates of completion (from in-service schools), or transcripts must be submitted as a basis for granting credit.
