1. Students will achieve a solid foundation in all fields of chemistry
2. Students will design and perform chemical experiments and will learn to comprehend and produce scientific writing in chemistry

Please summarize the data you have collected this semester / academic year.

All of our students pass our proficiency exams in their senior year. Although on some occasion it may take more than one attempt. Our students also contribute towards research and give seminar presentations as a capstone. Seminar presentations and research do not easily lend themselves to data collection.

Please describe any programmatic changes you have made or are planning to make based on the data you have collected.

We are currently developing an assessment rubric for our C101/C121 course.  We are hopeful that we can extend this rubric to our other courses and thus critically address assessment of all our courses.
