Business Advisory Board
The Business Advisory Board assists the Indiana University Northwest School of Business & Economics in the following ways:
- The Board assists the School in its accreditation activities directly by meeting with accreditation advisors and reviewers to show the support of the business community for this initiative.
- The Board supports the leadership focus of the School and assists in accreditation efforts by coming to a class at IUN, meeting the students, and answering questions in the area of their expertise.
- The Board assists the School in its accreditation efforts and partners with the school to see that the School is meeting the needs of the business community by offering the School feedback from the business community about
- the business educational and training needs of the northwest Indiana community;
- the performance of the school's graduates;
- the performance of the school's curriculum in meeting business educational needs; and
- the School's progress on its continuous improvement activities.
- The Board assists the School in its accreditation efforts and partners with the school to see that the School is meeting the needs of the business community by participating in the School's Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan Development process.
- The Board works with the School to identify key business leaders to speak at Business and Economics Week presentations.
- The Board helps the School form key partnerships in the business community to provide
- Internships for business students.
- The Board works with the School to insure its visibility in the business community and to develop appropriate marketing strategies.
