Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Two delivery methods - one great MBA! The only public institution in Northwest Indiana to offer and AACSB International Accredited MBA is IU Northwest.

The Weekend MBA is a hybrid cohort program which meets every other Saturday for 18 months. 40% of the courses are completed online and the rest are done in a hybrid. Perfect for professionals who only have time for school on the Weekends. Weekend MBA students are also off for two summer months in the middle of the program.  You will not find a weekend program in the entire Chicago market which offers the quality of an AACSB accredited MBA for the price.

The Weeknight MBA meets weeknights from 7-9:45pm, one night per class. By taking two classes a semester, your MBA can be completed in as little as 20 months! Students with an undergraduate degree in business may qualify to enter directly into the 36 credit hour MBA Core. 

Both programs focus on blending leadership and teamwork into the curriculum. These are the skills that not only make you competitive in today’s business environment but position you to be a “difference maker” both on the job and in the community.are taught by AACSB award winning faculty who also have "real-world" experince.

Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Accounting (PBCA)

If you want to pursue a professional career in accounting, or sit for the CPA exam, then the Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Accounting (PBCA) is designed for you.  With your undergraduate degree in any field of study, you can pursue the PBCA. Classes are offered in the day and evening and the majority of students attend part-time. 

The PBCA requirements "mirror" the requirements to sit for the CPA exam in the State of Indiana. All of your college coursework will apply to the PBCA.  For successful completion of this certificate, you will need 150 college credit hours, 24 credit hours in Accounting coursework, and 24 credit hours in Business and Economics coursework. 

Our graduates have taken positions as tax accountants, auditors, staff accountants, accounting managers, bank lending officers, and many other positions.
