Current Students
The Graduate Business Office publishes three newsletters each year. They are distributed in the classroom each fall, spring and summer. Students may request to be added to an e-mail distribution list to receive their newsletter via e-mail, or download them from our web site. The newsletters update students on registration, graduation, new developments in the curriculum and other items of interest to our students.
Students must apply for graduation the semester before they anticipate completing their degree or certificate requirements. You may download an application for graduation from this site. Complete it, then mail or fax it to Indiana University Northwest, School of Business & Economics, Graduate Office, 3400 Broadway, Gary, IN 46408. Fax 219-980-6916.
IU Northwest holds one commencement ceremony each May. May graduates, students who expect to graduate in summer and graduates from the previous December, are invited to attend commencement. Only students earning degrees (not Certificates) participate in commencement.
The Alumni Office organizes and sponsors commencement. Questions concerning commencement should be directed to the Alumni Office at 219-980-6769.
