NURS S481 Nursing Management (2 cr.)

Course Description

P: all junior-level courses. C: NURS S482. This course focuses on the development of management skills assumed by professional nurses, including delegation of responsibilities, networking, facilitation of groups, conflict resolution, leadership, case management, and collaboration. Concepts addressed include organizational structure, change, managing quality and performance, workplace diversity, budgeting and resource allocation, and delivery systems. (Spring).
