The Indiana University Northwest Office of Diversity Programming invites the campus community and the general public to a free performance by Joe Hernandez-Kolski, a two-time HBO Def Poet performer. The event will take place at 12 p.m., Wednesday, March 21 in the Moraine Student Center.

A graduate of Princeton University, Hernandez-Kolski is a hip-hop theatre artist who entertains with a blend of spoken word, comedy and music to communicate the message of diversity and inclusion. Through comedic poetry, he creates an experience that is hard-hitting, truthful and incredibly funny. Hernandez-Kolski communicates the powerful message to the audience that although we are all different, there are many things that are common in each of our lives.

A reception will follow the performance.

Participants are advised to park at Arts on Grant, located just west of the IU Northwest campus in the Village Shopping Center at 37th Avenue and Grant Street, and take the RedHawk Shuttle to campus.
