The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at IU Northwest invites the campus community and general public for an enlightening account of one man’s journey from death row to freedom at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22 in the Bruce W. Bergland Auditorium, located in the Savannah Center.

Delbert Tibbs, who sat on Florida’s death row in 1974, will discuss how he was freed after the Florida Supreme Court reviewed his case and determined a lack of evidence to support his death row conviction.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at (219) 980-6695.
