The Indiana University Northwest Gold Stars Club and the Black Student Union will celebrate the autumn season with the inaugural Fall Fest Week, October 28 – 31.

The festivities will kick off with a Performing Art Show at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28 in the Savannah Center’s Bruce W. Bergland Auditorium. Dancing, signing, poetry, and instrumental music will excite the audience with performances from talented IU Northwest students and Northwest Indiana professionals. The free event, open to the campus and community, will be co-hosted by VERSES and D.J. Caeser.

And the season would be amiss without a Halloween party! IU Northwest students are invited to join in the fun of a Halloween Costume Contest sponsored by the student organizations. The festivities start at 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 in the Bruce W. Bergland Auditorium. Don your most creepy, ghoulish costume for a chance to win the contest. Tickets are $5 per person.

For questions regarding the upcoming events, or to request participation in the costume contest before Monday, Oct. 24, please contact Frankie Harris at fraharri@iun.edu or 219-980-6792.
