The Indiana University Northwest Chapter of the National Society of Leadership & Success (NSLS) is proud to announce the Fall 2011 semester lineup of internationally known speakers. Presentations will appear via a live satellite feed.

The events, sponsored by the campus leadership society, cover topics anchored in inspiration, dedication and self-improvement.

October 25: ‘Rise N' Thrive: From Great Potential to Exceptional Performance’

Al Duncan, a successful entrepreneur and columnist, will present via satellite at 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 25 in the IU Northwest Gallery for Contemporary Art, located in the Savannah Center.

From the moment Duncan was labeled an "at-risk" youth because of living in a sexually abusive and drug addicted home, he has managed to rise and thrive, going on to become one of the leading motivational speakers for students around the globe.

As the President and CEO of his own company, Al Duncan Enterprises, Duncan has become a recognized leading authority on youth development and empowerment.

Discussion highlights will include managing stress, pressure and extra responsibilities; discovering skills that lead to growth; developing one’s leadership brand; and increasing one’s performance.

November 8: ‘Why A+ Students Work for C- Students: The Power of Financial Education’

Join the IU Northwest chapter of the NSLS for the final event of the Fall 2011 semester scheduled for 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8 in Moraine Student Center featuring Robert and Kim Kiyosaki.

Robert is an investor, businessman and best-selling author best known for his book “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” His most recent books are “Unfair Advantage: The Power of Financial Education” and “Midas Touch.”

Kim is an internationally renowned speaker, author, entrepreneur, and real estate investor. As a self-made millionaire, Kim's mission has been one of financial education for women. She is the host of a PBS show, “Rich Woman,” as well as a columnist for

The duo will address inspirational topics, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating the reflection; writing one’s own script; and increasing one’s attractiveness and likeability.

The campus community, as well as the greater Northwest Indiana community, are invited and encouraged to attend the upcoming events.
