Halloween party at IU Northwest scheduled for Oct. 30

Students, faculty, and staff invited to dance to the “Monster Mash” at the first annual Halloween bash

The Indiana University Northwest Office of Student Life and Athletics will host the first annual Halloween party and dance on Saturday, Oct. 30. All partygoers can expect some thrills and chills during the festivities, which start at 6 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m. The spooktacular event will take place in the Moraine Student Center.

All attending are encouraged to wear their most frightful costume. Prizes will be awarded to the best male and best female costumes.

A DJ will provide musical entertainment on-site by cranking up tunes to the latest party hits and favorite Halloween songs like “Monster Mash” and “Thriller.”

The free event will also feature some ghoulish food and drinks.

The Moraine Student Center is adjacent to the Savannah Center, which is located on 33rd Ave. and Broadway in Gary.
