On Tuesday, April 6, the Indiana University Northwest School of Business and Economics -- Chicagoland’s Affordable AACSB Business School -- will host an evening open house to introduce area professionals to its MBA for Professionals program. The event will run from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Dunes Medical/Professional Building Room 1156, located on the IU Northwest campus at 35th Ave. and Jefferson St. in Gary.

The MBA for Professionals program offers evening and weekend options designed specifically to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. The evening option offers classes two nights per week and program completion in as little as 20 months. The weekend option includes all-day Saturday classes every other Saturday for 10 months out of the year, leading to degree completion in only 18 months.

Classes are taught by full-time business faculty, and the weekend program also includes an online component for added convenience to students.

IU Northwest offers the only public business program in Northwest Indiana that is accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), which is the premier business accreditation attained by only five percent of business schools worldwide. In January, AACSB reaffirmed the business school’s accreditation for an additional six years.

The evening and weekend programs make this advanced degree accessible for working professionals who must balance their education with other personal and professional obligations.

For those who have thought about going back to school for an MBA but who didn’t think they had the time, the IU Northwest School of Business and Economics is proud to offer programs that make an advanced business degree accessible to prospective students regardless of their schedules.

Anyone interested in pursuing an MBA through the MBA for Professionals program at IU Northwest is invited to meet School of Business and Economics faculty and see the school’s facilities, including the Wall St. on Broadway Trading Floor, on April 6.
