The Indiana University Northwest Office of Facilities Planning and the IU Northwest Police Department have announced that the management of Gleason Golf Course has agreed to allow university parking in its SOUTH parking only lot on Jefferson Avenue. Students, faculty and staff will be permitted to park in the south lot through March 31.
The north Gleason parking lot remains strictly off-limits to IU Northwest motorists, and violators may be ticketed or towed. That lot is used by Gleason Golf Course patrons. Motorists are also advised not to park in any Gleason spots that are clearly identified as reserved spots, and not to park in a manner that blocks access for other motorists. Owners whose vehicles are towed will be responsible for all costs and fees.
Starting April 1, the south Gleason lot will once again be off-limits to campus patrons, and violators may be ticketed or towed.
IU Northwest appreciates the cooperation and consideration of Gleason Golf Course officials in allowing temporary use of their south parking area for the benefit of IU Northwest students, faculty and staff during the winter months.
