IU Northwest Health and Wellness Center offers free seasonal flu vaccine to students, faculty and staff this week while supplies last

The Indiana University Northwest Health and Wellness Center has received a limited supply of seasonal flu vaccine for students, faculty and staff. Free vaccinations will be offered on Wednesday, Dec. 16, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and on Thursday, Dec. 17, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., at the clinic located in Dunes Medical/Professional Room 1027.

All students, faculty and staff should bring their campus identification with them to the clinic. Employees with IU health plans will be asked to provide the specific type of plan that they are on so that the clinic can receive reimbursement. Everyone is asked to arrive at the clinic at least one half hour prior to closing time so that clinic personnel can accommodate all vaccination requests.

Supplies of this seasonal flu vaccine are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The clinic is also still providing H1N1 vaccinations free of charge to any students, faculty or staff while supplies last.

After Thursday, Dec. 17, the clinic will close for the winter break. For more information, contact the Health and Wellness Center at (219) 980-7250, or visit the Web at http://www.iun.edu/~health4u/
