The Indiana University School of Medicine - Northwest received a high-profile visit on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 1st District U.S. Rep Pete Visclosky (D-Merrillville).
The Congressman toured the med school's labs in the Dunes Medical/Professional Building and a chemistry lab in Marram Hall, where the university's latest research equipment is housed. Med school and chemistry faculty gave demonstrations of the technology, for which Visclosky secured approximately $500,000 in an appropriations bill last year.
