The Indiana University Northwest Office of Marketing and Communications has announced to the campus that 35th Avenue west of Broadway and east of Jefferson Street is scheduled to be closed Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for water main repairs.
According to information presented in the local media, westbound traffic will detour south on Broadway, west on 37th Avenue and north on Jefferson. Eastbound traffic will detour south on Jefferson, east on 37th and north on Broadway.
Members of the campus community who normally use 35th Avenue when entering or exiting campus are encouraged to take note of the detours and plan for an alternate route on Thursday. This closure is only expected to last for one day.
Any additional information on this closure will be conveyed to the campus as it is received.
